Ridgway, Illinois. Brenda Irene (LaFary) Drone, age 61 of Ridgway died suddenly on July 22, 2015 in Chattanooga, TN as a result from a water related accident.  Brenda was born in Greencastle, IN on April 30, 1954 to the late Kenneth LaFary and Delores Thompson LaFary who survives. Brenda graduated high school from Norris City and college from SIC, she was avidly involved in the Ridgway American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and a member of the Crossroads Bible Church. Brenda was employed at the Wabash Valley Farm Services in Ridgway where she will be missed.  Brenda Irene was an incredible woman with many gifts, talents and more than anything a huge heart for her family. She loved to sing, dance and play music. Her singing and musical abilities were appreciated in church and you could catch her playfulness as she would even sing Karaoke. She was a good listener and better at prayer. Her hubs were genuine and her smile warm, there was a twinkle in her eye giving insight into the Life that was in her. She was a firm believer, lover of the sun, the beach, the mountains and simply being in creation. She was petite and strong, beating everyone in her high school class in arm wrestling. Her heart and soul was for her kids and grandkids, a woman who would do anything for her family and was there for every event possible. She loved to see them play sports, an avid fan of her family and anchor. She was brave and she now dances and sings in Heaven, the place of her eternal hope.  We welcome to celebrate the gift of her life with us. Brenda is survived by her mother, Delores LaFary, a daughter. Ladonna (Or) Cingilli, 2 sons, Jimmy (Jaime) Goebel and Justin (Krysal) Drone.  A brother, Kenneth LaFary, grandchildren, Savanna Rain Cingilli, Sierra Sky Cingilli, Noah Storm Cingilli, Alexis Katherine Barnes, Zachary Alan Barnes, Reagan Lane Goebel and Greyson James Goebel. Visitation for Benda will be on Saturday July 25, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the Crossroads Bible Church in Norris City, Il. Her funeral service will be at the church on Sunday July 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Chad Everett officiating. Her burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Ridgway.
